The bed itself is very nice quality and well-made. We bought the smallest one for the smallest crate after adopting a new dog. The memory foam is SO thick and SO tall, that our dog's back rubs on the top of the crate entrance on his way in. When he turns around, he doesn't weigh it down enough, and will rub on the top of the crate.and he's a squatty little, 13 pound dog!Lastly, we found out our dog doesn't like the bed. We'd purchased a 2nd crate for my office, and a cheaper, $17 bed from revain. Our dog would willingly go into this crate, but not the one with the Brindle bed. We've since replaced the bed in the second crate and now he loves going in there.Now we're stuck with this expensive one we don't use, but may try it on car trips.
