Review on 🧽 Enhanced OXO Good Grips Soap Dispensing Palm Brush for Improved Cleaning Experience by Brandon Harding

The new design is wrong!

The medium could not be loaded. Loved her for years. Reordered at the end of November and by Christmas it was broken. I taped the pole back but it ended up breaking and I can't fix it. I will order again but am a bit disappointed. I love all of my many Oxo products and thought this redesign would be a good idea, but it's a bit fragile. I'll try to explain: The old brushes are screwed into the base all around. They eventually wore out due to circular friction, putting pressure on the top half of the "teeth" that screwed into the brush. But rarely before the brushes themselves wear out. The new design features a threaded plug in the center of the top handle that screws into the base/brush. Unfortunately, this is a stress point and the bar breaks more easily than the old design from over-tightening or chafing. These brushes are not built to last, the brushes themselves wear out and I typically buy new ones every 8-12 months. I can afford another one for $6 each, but we hope the reinforced construction will solve this problem soon. Trust Oxo and expect them to find out soon. (Assuming it's not intentional obsolescence, so we're all buying more brushes) Too bad the brush itself wears out before the brushes themselves. Feel a little ripped off, but it's not enough to admit that this isn't one of the best scrubbers out there.

Pros
  • Heavy-duty nylon bristles easily clean baked-on food and are safe on non-stick cookware.
Cons
  • Has been corrupted.
