I like the style and the price of these lamps. We used them to replace the bedside lamps in our bedroom. Obviously they are more difficult to hang if you mount two as you have to make sure they are centered and aligned. Switching from wired to wired plug-in lights was relatively easy. The supplied screws for mounting were questionable. There were two sets, one was too long and one too short so we had to use shims along the way to ensure the sockets were a snug fit to the wall. You should also be aware that there is a small silver screw sticking out at the top where the brass mount is. Those screws don't seem to do anything. I took them out, covered the remaining holes with putty and painted over with brass paint. Despite small weaknesses I would buy these lamps again immediately. They make me happy every night as I turn them on to read before bed.
