This blanket was less than 3 weeks old. Started getting driftwood for 1 1/2 weeks. But I have cats (2) so I figured maybe they scratched it. But I couldn't imagine them scratching him so hard in such a short time. This has never happened to me, and I've had cats all my life (I'm 52 years old). Then the material started to feel thin even though I hadn't washed it or anything like that even when I first got it. One night I pulled the covers on and my finger put a hole in it☹. After a few days, new holes appeared in various places in the ceiling. Even over electrical wires, which I think makes it pretty dangerous. I showed the blanket to my mother who has been sewing for over 60 years. She said it was made out of VERY cheap stuff and was meant to fall apart. I would definitely not recommend.
