Review on Enhance Sleep, Reduce Eyestrain: Fitover 95% Anti-Blue Blocking Computer Glasses by Micheal Looney

Try: Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I bought it because I work in front of the computer all day and my eyes get very tired at the end of the day. I know I need to give my eyes more rest from the screen during the day, but it's so easy to get absorbed in work. I also read that blue light can contribute to myopia! Every year when I go to the optometrist my eyes get a little worse and I need a new prescription. My eye doctor said it wouldn't hurt to try blue light blocking glasses. Worth a try, but of course there's no guarantee my eyes won't change. I've only had them for a few days but so far I like them. My eyes are less tired at the end of the day. I bought them for about $16. The description said it was the starting price so I decided to try them for $16. They arrived safely in a box wrapped in Revain bubble wrap. It comes with a storage pouch as described. The plastic seems a bit cheap so we'll see how they hold up. I plan on just keeping them on my desk, so hopefully they'll be fine. They are too big for me but I thought they should fit over my prescription glasses. They're a little big for my face so they look like glasses, but other than that they fit well. At the top is a ledge that holds my glasses in place. The temples of the glasses can be a bit tight on the sides of my head, but maybe they will loosen up after wearing them for a long time. The lenses are very orange compared to others I've looked at, but I got used to it quickly. So overall I say it's worth a try. I will update my review after more wear as needed.

Pros
  • SLEEP BETTER - Promotes the sleep hormone melatonin by reducing blue light. Working on a computer, tablet, or phone after dark disrupts melatonin production, which interrupts the sleep cycle.
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
