Description of Enhance Sleep, Reduce Eyestrain: Fitover 95% Anti-Blue Blocking Computer Glasses

Plastic frame. PROTECT YOUR EYES - The ElementsActive Fitover Blue Blockers are safe to wear over your existing Rx prescription or reading eyeglasses (or without) to reduce eye fatigue, insomnia and macular degeneration from using electronic devices that emit harmful blue light. EXTRA AMBER - Orange Amber Lenses block blue light more effectively than any other competing computer glasses that uses more lighter yellow lenses. This blue blocking lens technology will reduce eyestrain, muscle fatigue, headaches, migraine triggered by absorption of harmful blue emission from various screen displays. SLEEP BETTER - Helps promote sleep hormones called melatonin by reducing blue light. Using the computer tablet or phone after daylight is gone disturbs melatonin production which interrupts your sleep cycle. FLEXIBLE FRAME (2nd gen) - Since June 2018, our frames use a NEWER frame material that is extremely flexible, durable yet light at the same time. Compared to other brands that could break easily after a few uses, the ElementsActive frame is practically indestructible even if you throw them against the wall or accidentally bend the frame, so you don't have to baby it. Great for teenagers and kids!.

I rest much better wearing them when looking at the computer.

I think these glasses really work. I sleep a lot better wearing them when I'm looking at the computer or TV screen at night. BUT I wore them one night, about 3 weeks after purchase, and one of the parts of my nose just fell off. I'm not rude with my things and I don't drop them. Even if the product "works", I still can't give a good review if a piece of it fell off less than a month after purchase. Really, I have a pair of $5 reading glasses that have lasted over a year and cost considerably…

Don't waste your money

I bought 2 pairs of these glasses. I bought the first pair for Christmas. They broke in half within the first month. I ordered a second pair and they fell apart in the middle within the first month too. I took them off and put them on the counter. In fact, they just split in half. These are very poorly made glasses. Edit for review. Following my original post above, ElementsActive refunded my glasses and offered a sincere apology. I appreciate the quick and friendly service. Points still suck…

Does what it's supposed to do

These glasses definitely block all blue light. I checked them with a spectrometer. They fit my prescription glasses very well and are very comfortable. I only wear them for about the last hour before bed, so I can't speak to long-term wear. The build quality and the price are good. The only downside you have to be aware of is that the colors are clearly shifted. This is fine for reading a book or monochromatic text on a tablet, but not great for gaming, web browsing, or anything else where…

Very important! the best in computer accessories and peripherals

These glasses were everything they were billed for. Good design. They sit well over my current glasses. The clarity is really good. They are not too heavy when worn with my other glasses. They are not too dark. All in all, they make a big difference! I will be buying another pair soon. They also come with a 1 year guarantee so they stand behind their product which is very important.

Doesn't block blue light. looks blue

Does not block blue light. If you look at a blue LED it should look black or white with a true blue light blocker. They make the blue LED a little dimmer.

  • Brilliantly made

Two Stars Electronics

Not very comfortable. But good news. This company cares and wanted to know about the problems and helped me. Even though this product was overkill for me, I would try their products. It's not often that you are treated with respect and this company did it for me.

FAIL! These Fitovers DO NOT block blue light

You can test supposed blue opaque lenses in several ways. The photometer is the gold standard, but you can also just look at different blue LEDs in the dark and see if they're really blocking the light. Trusted glasses like [use color charts like the Uvex Skyper blue light blocking computer glasses do the job well; they basically do nothing. Also, various color spectrum tests are available online, such as the Quora question "How do you test computer glasses, can they block blue light or not?"…

The glasses came very quickly and with little.

****update After I wrote my review, the company actually contacted me! Not only did they return my money, but they also accepted the suggestion that their factory file should be smaller for convenience. I'm looking for another pair with this company! Not many companies take customer service and product seriously. To be honest I'm just happy that they try to make their product better. The glasses came very quickly and with a small case. Only downside is they fit over my glasses but the bottom is

Causes a headache

I was excited to get these glasses as they had good reviews overall. They went well with my prescription glasses which was a plus. Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the results considering what I bought it for. While these glasses make my eyes feel a little relaxed when working on the computer, I had an accompanying headache that I didn't have before wearing these glasses. I gave them another shot the next day to make sure my headache wasn't the result of something else, but…

Pros

Try: Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I bought it because I work in front of the computer all day and my eyes get very tired at the end of the day. I know I need to give my eyes more rest from the screen during the day, but it's so easy to get absorbed in work. I also read that blue light can contribute to myopia! Every year when I go to the optometrist my eyes get a little worse and I need a new prescription. My eye doctor said it wouldn't hurt to try blue light blocking glasses. Worth a try, but of course there's no guarantee my…
