Review on πŸ“Ί Cable Matters Slim Amplified HDTV Antenna for Indoors with Stand by Robert Staten

This product works exactly as described. The page [.] shows that I will get 4 strong channels in my area. At first I didn't use an amplifier and only received 2 channels. When I added an amp and cranked it up to full power, I got 7 channels! 4 strong images were very clear in a wide HD resolution while the other 3 images were in square SD format. The antenna is very thin, light and of good build quality. I first used the included stand (shown in the picture) to hold the antenna. The stand was strong enough to hold the antenna, but it didn't have rubber feet, so it moved more than I liked. I wanted to move it to the window but didn't see the included non-permanent window mount so I just used tape as it's very light. The signal from the window mount seemed about the same as the stand so I keep it away from the top of the window. About every 2-3 minutes I get a slight loss of signal where the picture becomes pixelated and the sound cuts out for a second. I have a lot of trees around the house and bushes in front of the window, so this can be a possible problem. But during those 2-3 minutes where it doesn't turn off, it's crystal clear and the sound is great. You might have a better signal if you don't have any obstructions or if you're on the second floor above all the trees, so I don't blame the antenna at all. Overall, this product is a great investment if you want unlimited free local channels.
