I bought the "network" version of this surge protector after all the devices in my house that were connected to the ethernet cable were destroyed by lightning. I love its size and the extra outlet on the side, but it REALLY slowed down my internet speed. The speed went from 180 Mbps to less than 25 Mbps when the ethernet cable went through the surge protector. I didn't see any mention of top speed or anything like that in the description, so I feel a little underwhelmed with this purchase. I think the burst goodness part works well, which is a shame as I won't be using a device that slows my internet speed by more than 5x. If I've missed something, please let me know.
