This isn't my first Fiskars paper cutter but my old one was so old that replacement blades were hard to find. I'm not happy with it and I couldn't even use it! Unfortunately I've waited too long to open mine and I'm already past the return date. When opening for use, a piece of cardboard packaging was taped to the cut surface. When I removed it, the tape left a sticky residue that I couldn't remove with the tape itself. So I used my goo gone method on a cotton pad to remove the tape and then rubbed alcohol on a fresh cotton pad to get rid of the oily goo gone residue. Unfortunately, not only did the alcohol remove the residue, it also removed or lightened the markings, bright silver paint and flowers! I'm not sure how else to remove the sticky residue from the packaging, but be careful. ! This can be a problem for others. 2 stars because it still cuts as intended but now it's ugly and the faded markings don't last as long.
