Review on Bud Industries NBF-32012 Economy Box - Weatherproof Plastic Indoor Electrical Box - Standoff Wall Mounting Industrial Electrical Unit by Deron Gilliam

Just received this box and it looks great. It appears to be well made and looks like it's not only weatherproof but waterproof as well. It has just one problem that may limit its usefulness for the project I'm building. I need to be able to open it easily in very cold winter weather. I tested this by placing it in the freezer at 0°F. When it's cold I can open the latches with no problem, but the door won't budge until left at room temperature for a few minutes. The box was completely dry for my test, so the ice didn't keep the door closed. Then I applied a small amount of 100% mineral oil gel (trade name Petro Gel) to the surface of the rubber door seal. It did not help; may have made the sticking worse. Haven't tried greasing the hinges yet, but I highly doubt they're the problem. Bottom line, despite high quality and nice looks, it won't work for my project if I don't fix the door jamming issue.
