I was skeptical at first. I figured they would work like plastic bowls and get dirty and scratched instantly. I've had them for about 8 weeks now and they have outperformed all of my other bowls (plastic, glass etc.). I liked them so much that I bought another set and only bought plates to go with them. We have spaghetti a few times a month and I personally have had no problems with stains. I didn't heat spaghetti sauce in them (I guess if that's why they stain some people), but to me they were flawless. I heat them in the microwave and wash them in the dishwasher daily and they're just as good as the first time. I definitely recommend them. For those wondering about the size, they're perfect for a soup or salad bowl. Slightly deeper than a regular cereal bowl but not big enough to be used as a serving platter.
