I use them with JBL portable speakers and car stereos. In terms of sound, a wired connection can hardly be surpassed. I think it just sounds better than Bluetooth. With cords that short, you'll hardly notice them, but the spiral part allows for a little stretch, which makes using such a short cord more convenient. Thought they were a bit pricey but not too bad for two of them.
