I was a little worried about the purchase because the price is much lower than other epilators and I thought it was not so good quality. However, after using it I am more than satisfied. Everything I've read about epilators online and in these comments/reviews is true. It is painful, uncomfortable, and red dots appear on the skin after use. However, it's also true that you should be fine if you carefully read the instructions that came with your epilator before using it. I've used it on my armpits and legs and both are smooth. My armpits hurt a little more than my legs, but the average person can't handle it. I carried a damp washcloth and pressed it lightly against my skin after I finished epilating to reduce pain and inflammation. It worked like magic. First of all, if you are afraid of somehow screwing it up and hurting yourself, I would recommend that you read the instructions carefully and follow them. Second, below I detail what I did, step by step, so you know what worked for me. Also, I've attached a photo of my armpit the morning after using the epilator. 1) Plan to shower at night as it makes things easier (you'll see why later). 2) Rinse the epilator head when you take it out of the box and let it dry completely before use. 3) While the epilation head dries, read the instructions and safety warnings. 4) Shower - Clean and exfoliate very thoroughly the areas where you plan to use the epilator 5) No Lotion - I usually apply lotion after showering, but this time I've limited myself to only applying lotion to areas in which I have not used the epilators epilators. I just dried the areas I wanted to epilate. 6) When you are ready, put the dry head on the epilator and turn it on. turn it on 7) Run the epilator lightly over the skin. This will be uncomfortable as your hair will be pulled, but try to move as slowly as possible so you don't accidentally cut your hair instead of pulling it out. 8) Go against the direction your hair is growing. Some comments here say it's meant to help hair growth, but the instructions that came with the epilator say otherwise. Shake the hair off the head of the epilator. When you are finished using the epilator, rinse again with cold water and let it dry completely before storing it away. 10) When you're done and your skin hurts/burns, lightly press a damp washcloth (preferably cold) against it. 11) Apply unscented lotion to the area you just epilated and massage the area. 12) If you do this at night and have epilated armpits, go to bed without deodorant. Let your skin breathe at night. After epilation, you will notice the appearance of red spots, but they will disappear in the morning (see image). this does not conflict with the safety instructions accompanying the epilator. I know it's scary, but if you take a deep breath and follow the directions, you'll be fine. I am very happy that over time I have less and less hair!
