Review on Flexible Fingertip Quilting Tools for Sewing Notions & Supplies - Adjustable Protector by Linda Diaz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Here are some sizes that might help!

These are bee knees. Here is some sizing info that might be helpful: The tip of my index finger is 2 inches in diameter (measured from the middle of the finger) and my thumb is 2.25 inches in diameter (measured as the middle of the finger). When the metal clasps on the small and middle thimbles are closed, the small thimble fits straight (with a slight bend) on my index finger (tight, which is good, doesn't fall out. The middle thimble also fits very well (doesn't wobble) and I think it's snug enough to hold (haven't used them yet) I use them for a knitting project I'm doing - I'm tired of wearing a bandage so I can use my index finger to stitch the Putting a needle through very thick thread while cable weaving! It's a dream. When I buy gloves, I choose the average size, and my ring size is 7.5 in case you can't measure with your fingers. (laughs) The metal is strong, does not splinter etc. I gave almost 4 stars for ease of use because my mother had trouble getting the lugs apart Less strong hands may need to use pliers for some reason n to spread or pinch the tabs (or ask for help).

Pros
  • Function: The sewing thimble is a useful sewing tool to protect fingers when the needle is over the fabric and can exert good force to pierce clothes.
