I am pleased to have found this solution to my problem of installing new GCFI outlets in a wall of 2" x 1" plank frames covered with flat outlet plates. Arlington Non-Metallic Box 1-Gang Extensions allowed me to fit the larger GCFI outlets perfectly into my existing electrical box. This was for a basement storage room where the alternative would be to tear down the walls and replace them with standard 2x4 inch rack frames and drywall, which we didn't want to do in a storage-only room. Great product for this need. Recommended .
