Good product. for electrical boxes, conduit and fittings

Great product but watch out for adapter thickness. Really thought he called 3/8" but got 1/2". So far it's working well, it just sticks out more than it should. The unique position doesn't offer much clearance, it's so close that the door bangs against it when the switch is halfway between on and off. And yes, I know it would have to be done on purpose, but kids are kids.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Low repairability

Perfect for my individual needs

Unexpectedly faced with a thin wall where we needed the 'volume control', WHITE and the depth to match the home of discerning customers. Found locally only in black. Even the power supply has failed for 2 weeks. Found this straight away, helped me get the job done, it's worth more bucks than it really should cost just to get it done. suitable, but for a lamp/socket/switch I can see where this would work well.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • So far so good

Great solution for thin walls

I am pleased to have found this solution to my problem of installing new GCFI outlets in a wall of 2" x 1" plank frames covered with flat outlet plates. Arlington Non-Metallic Box 1-Gang Extensions allowed me to fit the larger GCFI outlets perfectly into my existing electrical box. This was for a basement storage room where the alternative would be to tear down the walls and replace them with standard 2x4 inch rack frames and drywall, which we didn't want to do in a storage-only room. Great…

A great way to easily expand an electrical box.

Great product! I have an old junction box that is only 1.5 inches deep and is mounted in a cinder block wall. I wanted to replace the light switch with a dimmer, but the dimmer is almost 1.5 inches deep and there wasn't room for nuts and wires. This extension was just what I needed. cinder block. And it looks great.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Exactly what I needed for my old wallbox

This was exactly what I needed to install a new socket with USB ports in a somewhat old wallbox. subject to the extra 1/4-1/2 inch clearance I need to be really comfortable. Matches both smaller and larger wall tiles so I can mix and match with other tiles in the room. As a piece of plastic, I had to install a ground wire from the metal wall box to the ground screw on the outlet. The socket now protrudes a little from the wall, so it's better to use it in places where you won't collide with…

Pros
  • Quality construction

  • Requires socket
