Glad to have found this solution to my problem of installing new GCFI outlets in a 2 x 1 inch wood frame wall clad in flat sockets. Arlington Extender The Non-Metallic Box 1 Gang allowed me to fit the larger GCFI sockets perfectly into the existing electrical box. This was for a basement storage area where the alternative would be to tear down the walls and replace them with a standard 2x4 inch rack frame. and drywall, which we didn't want to do in a space that's just used for storage. Great product for this need. highlighted.
