Almost a year ago I bought a Tidaltek car mount for my car phone and have been very happy with it. This one had a longer neck for another car. It and this new one are the only ones I've found that have an opening wide enough and sides high enough to hold my phone while it's in the Otterbox. Both held the phone securely and I was very happy with both in that regard. However, the old Tidaltek mount broke at the end of the suction cup and since you can't just snap the new suction cup end on, it's now unusable. The new one has an equally large holder to fit any phone you can throw around. The downsides are that it doesn't rotate 360 degrees like my other one. So you mount it horizontally or vertically and it's a little awkward to switch from one orientation to another. Nothing special but why not like the others. The mount is very stable and I like it very much. The phone doesn't bounce much when driving on bumpy roads. One big thing I hate about this new mount is that the phone holder slides out of the rest of the mount too easily. I'm just trying to adjust the phone's volume or hold the cradle while typing something and it falls off in my hand. Really need a more secure way to attach the holder to the rest of the mount so it doesn't come loose easily. I didn't notice that with the old mount, but it's the same design, so maybe I just got lucky with this one. I will try to glue the holder to the bracket. I don't like it because I never get it off when I do, but it's come loose so many times while driving, sometimes just against a bump, that I won't be using it. like I haven't tried anything. A small tweak or two would make this the absolute best window mount I've ever used, but without those tweaks it's very disappointing.
