USB resets whenever something is plugged into other USB slot. An issue for a streaming device
This is exactly what I needed for the wall mounted TV I have in my kitchen. It’s driven via Chromecast, so I only need AC power for the TV and a USB DC power source for the Chromecast. This works perfectly well, but something I’d never considered was that anytime you interrupt or disrupt the USB portion of the plug, it shuts down the Chromecast. Even with no load. It’s not as cool as I thought, as I thought you’d just be able to plug in etc. but not a deal breaker. Straightforward instructions, good quality, good price. just didn’t anticipate the reset on attached devices.
