I use mine as a placemat for my workstation. I'm a clockmaker, I work with tiny little parts that like to bounce off the table into oblivion. This floormat has ridges that are perfect to stop those tiny parts from getting away. It sticks to my worktable, and doesn't slip around, and it's thin so it doesn't get in the way, or cause a raised lip to catch with your arms as you move about. I've removed and put it back off and on the table many times, and the sticky back keeps sticking. This thing is awesome for my needs and I love it. I searched for awhile looking for the right workmat, and this thing checked every box for my requirements.
