Review on Bone Conduction Motorcycle Helmet Bluetooth Headset with Super Bass, IP68 Waterproof Speakers for Helmet, 10hrs Play Time, Ski Helmet Speakers with Separate Microphone by Steven Stager

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not bone conduction, not for half helmets.

First of all, I'll admit that I've used this in a non-recommended application. Please note this. I'm here to share my experience but I'll post it back. I wear a half helmet and am trying to find a sensible solution that doesn't involve stuffing my ears or buying another helmet. To be honest I didn't expect this to work for me and it won't. It's not "bone conduction," it's an audio or surface stimulus. I've often used things like this to turn furniture into speakers. Not known for high sound quality, but on the bike it's not a big issue - but I REALLY need to be able to hear. It's not loud enough on my half helmet and at max volume the speaker doesn't stick well and the sound leaks out. It's disappointing because the price is right and I really like the controls - big chunky button and ring right there, easy to find and control even with gloves on. That's a great idea and I can only hope it works better with full face helmets.
