Seems to be an effective product
I use XFasten Fabric and Vinyl Repair Tape to re-recover the control panel located on the inside edge of my 12-year-old Hot Springs spa. Over years it had developed a very faded mold like look. I was able to peel off the old film covering, use it as pattern to trace it to the tape and re-apply. It looks very good and is sufficiently flexible so that the underlaying buttons work well.
