We already had shiny metal hooks, but they started to rust because it wasn't stainless steel, it was chrome instead of cheap steel. We now have rust stains on a designer shower curtain that cost us about $100 and I need to find a chemical to remove the rust stains, but in the meantime we bought these plastic rings that won't rust and will do their job. advise all shoppers to stay away from shiny metal hooks because unless it says "stainless steel" it's chrome plated cheap metal that will rust and ruin your shower curtains.
