Review on 🏠 HY-KO PRODUCTS CO FM-6/2 Floating Mount House Number 6" Black #2 - Sleek Design and Easy Installation by Christopher Shah

The figures are excellent; much cheaper than the house number website prices. BUT, the instructions are WRONG and the mounting anchors are rubbish. The instructions say to drill a 3/16 inch hole and "drive in" the anchor, then drive the screws into the anchor. The problem is that the anchor won't go in the 3/16" hole when installing on wood. As another reviewer said, you have to drill 15/64" holes to insert the anchors. Some of them were still breaking down when deployed, FYI. I removed the outer edge that collapsed and it worked fine. Template pages have holes in the WRONG place! So insert the screws into your numbers and then hold them over the template to fasten as needed. The seller does not respond to my inquiries about this; they don't seem to care. The spacers are silver, also with the black numbers. It doesn't look good so I painted them black and they look a lot better. You may want to paint the spacers black before installing the numbers, this will make it easier.
