I make waffles every week and I even take my waffle maker to the beach on a family vacation. I need a new one every few years and have hesitated to spend that much on it. I'm glad I did. The waffles are thick and airy on the inside. I've also used brownie mix and regular cake mix in this waffle maker, both were delicious. The unit is nice enough to stay on my countertop, which no other waffle maker has been allowed to. It had a great feature that allowed me to position it properly to save space while still displaying a well-made, everyday kitchen utensil. I'm glad I took the plunge and bought this one and don't think I'll ever need one again.
