I have used the original Neutrogena T Gel formula on occasion and it has worked well for me. I was expecting it to be a similar product based on the name. I thought since this is a daily shampoo it might be a less strong version of the original that is not recommended for everyday use. This shampoo uses a completely different active ingredient. And I've used other zinc pyrithione shampoos like Head and Shoulders with no problems. But this shampoo took away my very light dandruff and made it horrible, I got dandruff after using this stuff. I'm glad many others seem to have had positive experiences with this product, but it didn't work for me at all.
