Compared to other popular projectors, this one is a clear winner

I bought the Vankyo Leisure 3 projector on Black Friday last year. Although the Vankyo was a great little device, I found that with only 2400 lux of light it needed to be almost black to see the projection clearly. So I looked for a sub-$100 device that would work better with filtered daylight. I chose the DBPower L21 and am very impressed! The illumination of this unit is 3600 lux and I believe it can be used in daylight with normal curtains (no blackout). I've attached some videos to give you a sense of the brightness in the middle of a sunny day. For reference 1) There is NO screen in the videos, this is my beige painted wall - you can see how bright the images are even against a darker background 2) There are 3 large windows in the room which let in lots of ambient light - the Room is fairly bright and I could still see projected detail very clearly. 3) The portion of the wall it is displayed on is about 10 feet long to give you an idea of how large the video was without losing clarity. 4) Video from an over-the-air antenna using a Revain Recast and a Fire Stick device. 5) The volume is greatly reduced, but this is very impressive with the built-in speakers. In the future I will still connect an external speaker, but it turned out better than I expected. 3 main advantages - Clear daylight image with filter - Easy to focus - Small size
