Review on Rokinon 24Mm Speed Angle Canon by Anna Dominguez

I recently bought a Black Magic 6k Pro Pocket Cinema Camera and was looking for lenses for commercial/promotional use. I bought this lens as my first lens and I do not regret the purchase. For more context I used a Rokinon ultra wide angle lens for architecture/landscape photography on my Sony a7iii so I'm familiar with the brand and the quality they offer for the price. The aperture is wide and fast, the bokeh is beautiful and I think the focal length of 24mm becomes 40mm on camera, which is close to the 35mm I often use on my Sony a7iii. The only downside I've come across is the distinctive purple fringes. It wasn't too much of an issue in controlled light conditions, but I definitely noticed a lot of it when shooting outdoors and with some flare. Speaking of flare, I personally love how intense it is on this lens. The build quality is excellent and also solid. All in all there is nothing to complain about for the price and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a top quality cinema lens.
