Some of these reviews are ridiculous. YES, a mouse pad can do MANY things. Depending on where you start touching the tablet, it may minimize or resize the screen you're on (like Chrome or IE). But you just have to learn how to slide your finger along the center of the pad and the problem is solved. The keyboard itself feels better than the Microsoft version. The keys are raised and slightly separated from each other, unlike the Microsoft keyboard where they are all tight together. The backlit keys work well. There are 3 levels (dark, light and off). The instructions don't really say how to work with the backlight, so I'll explain. To turn off the backlight and control the brightness, hold the lower-left FN key and press the lower-left ALT key. To change the color, hold down the ALT key on the bottom left and click the up or down arrows in the bottom right corner. The keyboard's battery life is pretty damn impressive, even with the backlit keys turned on. Absolutely great replacement for a Microsoft keyboard twice the price.
