The distance between the rails is larger than standard seat post clamps. I took some pliers and gradually squeezed the guides together so they fit together. The saddle is noisy or squeaks, especially over bumps where the saddle flexes. This is solved by putting a few drops of oil/grease (not WD 40) on the swivel in the saddle nose. The springs did not need to be lubricated. After that the seat was still. I have this on an e-bike and it's very comfortable to just sit (using the gas instead of pedaling) for long periods of time. The pedaling properties are also good. The saddle increases the height significantly. Make sure you have at least 3 inches to lower the seatpost with your bike to accommodate the extra height. Also, the rear springs take up a lot of space under the seat. If you have a pannier rack this is fine if the saddle needs to be in a lower position. This is not a candidate for a seat pocket (under the seat).
