Review on πŸͺš Dremel 231 Shaper Router Table: Optimize Your Woodworking with Precision and Ease by Cory Jacobson

Large indentation on flat tabletop

I disassembled the table and filled the large indentation on the table with epoxy. The indentation is about 3/16" deep in the center. I did this several times, allowing the epoxy to dry between each pour. I used a sanding block and replaced it with a finer grit. Then sanded between each fill until the table was completely flat war. Now it's ready to use. If you don't fill this hole you won't get good results with your router. My other advice is that you need to make small pieces with the router. If you're trying to do the entire thickness in one pass making the dremel bit will bend and mess up the cut If you are using a full sized router this little thing has nothing to do with it Having learned the limitations I can now make some nice cuts with it. I also use my fastest Dremel drill bit for this, and I use the slower bits for manual work or on a drill press.
