The packages were too heavy for me so I opened the boxes on the porch and carried them upstairs one by one. I'm a normal 45 year old woman and I was able to assemble the shelves by myself. The instructions were great and all the parts were there. I used wheels to move the finished product to where I need it. They are very well constructed and never need to be replaced. This whole process took about 1 hour, damn I'm slow and old
