Review on Sony Cybershot DSC-T10 7.2MP Digital Camera - Enhanced Optical Steady Shot Zoom (Black) by Drew Poulin

So I waited and saved up to buy THIS camera. I had to have it after seeing how cute it is and hearing about all of its features, including the alleged Super SteadyShot stabilization. So I finally bought it and I have to say that the price disappointed me. Don't get me wrong, it's VERY cute and small - fits easily in a pocket or purse. And some of the features are nice, like flipping forward to toggle on and off, but the cons outweigh the pros. Use your $300+ on a DSLR or save some money and buy a cheaper camera. This one isn't worth it. I made the mistake not sending it back a few days after receiving it because I thought I just didn't know how to use them properly. If anyone is reading this review and still wants an almost unused t10 please contact me! My main concerns include: ** Even though it has "Super SteadyShot Stabilization", I still get blurry images, just like any other camera. I don't see this amazing technology that Sony claims this camera has.** Something is wrong with the design of the camera and with the flash so close to the lens. This causes large reflective circles to appear in some of your images for no apparent reason and there is no way to fix the image afterwards. You never know when they will appear and this leads to that the picture will be spoiled. Sony acknowledges the problem but does not offer a solution. They claim it is due to "dust particles in the air". ** The next BIG problem is red eyes. I've never experienced such horrific red-eye problems on a camera. There is a red-eye reduction setting that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. ** The camera is cute and small, but the cable that comes with the image transfer kit looks like an octopus. Sony tried to make an all-in-one cable for this camera, but it ended up being a mess. I like to carry my camera and cable in a small bag so I can transfer my footage to my computer at any time. This cable makes that impossible because even though the size of the camera is tiny, this cable will take up half of my purse! It may seem trivial, but to me it's a pain.
