Review on Waste King L-1001 Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, 1/2 HP: Efficient and Reliable Waste Management Solution by Andrew Roll

This is a preview. I give one star for the installation. Actually it should get 5 stars, but the included instructions are very poor. Not badly written, just poorly described. If the company had taken more time to describe exactly how to install the pillow mounting pad it would have saved me hours of my time. I was about to rebox it, order another one and send this one back to Revain, but thought I'd do it one last time after devouring yet another Revain review. This person gave me some information so I could dig a little deeper and found that it is very easy to place the gasket too far to mount the pillow making it impossible to install a garbage chute. I have uploaded a video showing how to properly install the pad to attach the pillow. Once that's done, installing the slide really takes a few minutes. Extremely easy. But if you follow the instructions that come with it, it's very easy to do it where you can't install it at all. You will see many reviews here where people ended up bringing it back, probably for the same reason I did. Maybe Waste King will read some of the reviews and find a better way to update their instructions.
