I have a Dell Precision 5540, for some reason devices only show up when docked before docking with the laptop. If I remove the mouse receiver or memory card after connecting the dock, they are not recognized when reconnected. I need to unplug the dock from the laptop's TB port and then plug it back in. This happened to me at Belkin too. Now I'm not sure if it is Windows issue, Driver issue, TB issue, Dock issue or DELL issue. Returned Belkin, I think it will be necessary to return this one. I blame DELL, I think they are only known for being compatible with their own TB docks. I gave 3 stars because I don't know what the problem is.
