I bought these lights to replace the LED strip in my daughter's bedroom and I'm SOOOOO glad I did. They serve the same purpose (night light) and give you more bang for your buck in my opinion. It also makes her princess room a little more magical. Most LED lights are around $15 for 16 feet. It cost $30 to cover half my daughter's room and the LED strips broke in less than 6 months. These lights cost less than $15 for 40 feet and almost completely illuminated her room. They give off a lot of light and come in a variety of colors for my girl to choose from. I also like that they connect via USB (AC adapter included). This allows me to connect it to a set top box or TV that my young child can't, but it also means I can use different chargers/USB ports to suit my needs. The remote control is easy to use and understand, and the timer works great. I set it to 8 hours so it turns off at night to save power while my daughter sleeps. The light is easy to use and inexpensive. The ONLY thing that would make them better would be if they had an app for my phone. I will definitely be buying more for the holidays and other rooms that could use some shine in the near future.
