We use monitor stands at work and have never had a problem. Now that I'm working from home, I needed to find a way to fit two 25-inch monitors on my desk and leave room for my laptop and keyboard. Easy enough. Buy a stand. put it together connect monitors. Not so fast. I was missing a screw for the base. I should have stopped there. I had to order Vesa adapter plates. No problem, everything is fine at the moment. I removed the base and attached the adapters and VESA plates. Almost at home mounted monitors. the monitors booted up. the screws tightened. The monitors powered up, the position corrected. RAISE THE MONITORS. THE MONITORS DO NOT STAY VERTICAL. If I used the product as it came to me, I would go to work. I mean don't get me wrong. I've been known to lie down at work, but that's too much! I wrestled with BOTH sides for over an hour and finally said. SCREWS. so i did. I took two screws, inserted them into the lever and fixed the linkage in a vertical position. I would have liked to have given the product 5 stars, but the lack of hardware and weak connection killed the entire rating. I mean if my occasional bouts of colorful tongue could help that would be 10 stars.
