Washing the beard is normal, but very watery. It's not something you can pump up with your fingers to apply to your beard; it's too watery and rolls right off your fingers. You have to shape your hands to pump/transfer the cleanser into your beard and even then it will be watery enough to drip off your hands. Imagine you take 1 bottle of dish soap or shampoo and mix it with 3 equal bottles of water. This is how its watery consistency can be described. I probably lost 1/4 of my beard wash when I found out it was watery. The smell, although not overpowering, is similar to that of Axe sprays. Cannot match cologne users. There are better things.
