These socks are worth the price! They're snug, comfortable, and the perfect length to be invisible in shoes. The perfect length for a true stealth look while still providing maximum foot coverage. Selected cushioning starts about halfway down the bottom of the foot and continues to the toe seam. I didn't think I'd like the lack of padding alongside the healing, but I really prefer it now as it doesn't change how comfortable they are and offers a cooler, more breathable feel where I thought I felt most least interested. The arch support in the center is what really holds these socks together for the tight fit I keep mentioning. These socks have a left and right anatomical foot shape (left and right) and have no problems with falls. They have a non-slip gel grip near the heal to prevent this. Granted, you might think they're a bit tight when you first put them on, but my feet didn't feel restricted in terms of toe movement or a "tight" feeling. Highly recommended! I bought a grey, a black and a digital camera and they are all the same in terms of comfort.
