They look good, rotate well and don't feel uncomfortable at first, but I wouldn't recommend them for light boxers. As a 152lb professional boxer, this shoe doesn't work for me. Compared to the cheaper wrestling shoes I've had, they are much heavier on the sole and feel like your feet are weighted. It makes strenuous footwork, skipping, and sparring a lot harder on your legs and calves (and I have pretty strong legs). I have a pair of $80 adidas wrestling shoes that I prefer to wear instead. They're lighter, easier to jump in, and less tiring on your legs. In summary, if there are any beginner boxers reading these reviews and wondering whether or not to take them, I wouldn't do it. I do not recommend. Better buy a cheaper pair of wrestling shoes. These shoes can even rob you of your motivation to box because they tire your feet so much.
