Let me first say that it was very economical and I am very satisfied with the product. Very relaxing, the colors change and the base has stone-like crystals that also react to light. It's a fun night light, party light, or whatever you want to use. The changing colors are so unique and mesmerizing. I bought this for a friend who uses it while working on the computer late at night. It works well and doesn't bother anyone in the house. Since it runs on batteries I would suggest keeping a supply on hand so you can keep it going. You don't need to replace it often. Great entertainment and beautiful lighting at parties, especially when there is more than one. Disclosure: I purchased this product at full price of my choice.
