I bought a 600 watt model and mounted it on my fifth bike so we could dry camp and watch TV and charge our electronics without running the generator all the time. So far everything works fine, we can charge our phones and watch TV for about 3 hours before we have to charge the batteries. I haven't tried starting the fridge with it and the microwave doesn't work on the 600 watt model. The 1200 watt model will likely work. I was told the higher the wattage the faster the batteries would drain even if it weren't using extra watts so we chose 600w. The remote works well it would be nice if it was wireless but it would probably cost more of the device if this were the case. I have yet to set the switch to bypass the trailer charger because it will overload the unit, which is no surprise.
