I bought a 600 watt model and mounted it on my fifth bike so we could dry camp and watch TV and charge our electronics without running the generator all the time. So far everything works fine, we can charge our phones and watch TV for about 3 hours before we have to charge the batteries. This pup worked great for 3 days then shorted out and the fuses blew. I have a small off grid cabin and based on the reviews this inverter would be perfect for my needs. This inverter seems to work well for the most part, but most importantly I needed to be able to run a 20 amp charger. My charger requires 360W to operate. This inverter kept failing when the charger was plugged in. I ran some tests and the battery voltage drops to 12.4V. I would expect the voltage to drop as it takes a few seconds for a car alternator (140A) to ramp up its output current.
