Revainrating 4 out of 5

5 stars for customer service / 4 stars for sine wave quality / 5 stars for design

I wish I could give 5 stars all round, but I can't. 5 Stars for Customer Service: First let me tell you that they have real live customer support! Here in the US, in Texas. One of my machines broke and I was VERY well received. Responsive. And they replaced the block with payment for delivery by mail. Good service! 5 Stars for Construction: The physical construction of this Giandel device is very good. The aluminum body is treated so that it does not oxidize. And mechanically well assembled. Internally, Giandel uses two conductors from the battery terminals to the circuit board. Whereas the XYZ model (also here at Revain) only uses 1 conductor in its 800w unit and that is not enough in my opinion. Both devices use the same manual battery clamps, which I don't like. 4 stars for the actual quality of the 118VAC output: While this may or may not be an issue for you, it's worth mentioning. I compared Giandel's sine wave output with a comparable model (brand XYZ INVT 800W). In general, the XYZ brand device is not so well designed, and the body looks like a first generation device. However, what is interesting is that from a pure sine wave perspective, the quality of the sine wave output is better on the XYZ brand device. I posted some photos. Now consider that this may or may not affect you. I think it depends on the application. But I mentioned it because it really struck me as a noisy sine wave compared to the XYZ brand.
