I always need a toothpick after eating so I always have some on hand. These are not the typical wooden, round or flat ones sold in local stores and break very easily with use. They don't act like they used to. Now they are cheaply made and insufficiently studied. These toothpicks are made of bamboo and are very durable and will not break with use. The plastic holder they come in is handy so you don't need to buy a separate toothpick holder to display them on the dining table for guests. I hated it because people grab more than one toothpick when they try to get one out of there and then you go get one and have to put it in your mouth eww. We have a lot of toothpick lovers in our family lol. You don't have to remove the cover to take it out. You just pop one out of the tiny hole at the top of the container. I highly recommend.
