Review on 🦶 Master Manufacturing Safety Orange Giant Foot Door Stop: Heavy Duty Rubber Wedge Design with 2" Clearance (1-Pack) by Marvin Short

The stop looks solid in the picture on the website. But when my 30lb dog was able to force the door open with little effort, I continued my inspection. The "vulcanized rubber" it's made of glides effortlessly over my old hardwood floors and carpet. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the material itself or if it has more to do with the fact that the inside of the stop is completely hollow. It has almost no weight and only the outer rubber lip, maybe 1/4 inch or a little more, actually makes contact with the floor or mat. The rest is hollow so doesn't touch and doesn't provide non-slip properties. Hinge is a good size and looks nice, but it's actually not a normal interior door in an apartment, open. I do not recommend this. It's too cheap to return and I'll try to tape a non-slip mat to the bottom edges. let's see if it helps.
