I was looking for socks that would allow me to stand on concrete all day. My feet sweat, swell and hurt. I found Merino wool socks to wick moisture well, so I bought thick ones. They are too hot and too heavy for summer, so again I searched for thinner ones, suitable for different shoes. They meet all requirements. I bought several brands and they were very good. They're thin and low-wool, so they don't absorb as much moisture as my other thicker socks, but dry quickly when I take my shoes off during breaks. I wear them everyday in leather trimmed shoes. They don't seem to curl much and stay in place well. Be careful not to overheat/dry them out; However, they stretch back well. I wear women's shoes 7.5 and have long, slender legs; So I bought small ones and they are doing well. You're about to get too tight, so I'm sharing this information with those of you who, like me, are struggling to find the right socks. :) I will buy 3 more packs of socks from this list, bamboo. they will be here in a week. I'm happy to see and feel the difference. 12/14/19News Blue bamboo socks are very soft and fit very well. They don't seem that good at helping my feet stay dry in leather shoes. They dry when I take my shoes off during a break, but not as quickly as merino wool. I have dried my merino wool socks and I wear them every day, they are no longer as comfortable as when I first bought them, not so soft and too tight. I bought 3 more packs of wool. :D Be here in a few minutes. Merry Christmas to me. ♧ ha
