This case is perfect for my AKG Lyra studio microphone The case comes with a nice, thick foam insert, but I don't need it as the microphone moves when it's closed Lid doesn't move at all and the open space is great for extra cables etc (there's also a thin piece of foam under the pick which worked great for keeping it in the case.) The case is strong enough that I think I'll could drive my car over it without damaging the contents Excellent value for money and quality I used my Brother P-Touch to make a label for it so you there s do not see the manufacturer's logo on it. The body has a pressure relief valve, which is essential when traveling by air. Highly recommended.
