Keep my crochet yarn in this bag which is especially nice as I like to work with different colored yarn. The pocket is large enough to hold a large project and yarn to work with, and the outside pocket is great for tools - crochet hooks, a yarn needle (in a container) and blunt-ended scissors. I have four of these in different colors, I will be buying more! Good product! Update: I now have 25 of these bags. Yes, it's TWENTY-FIVE! Most of my very large yarn stash is kept in these bags and stored on shelves in the pantry. They are great for this purpose as they protect the yarn but are transparent so I can easily find the right yarn. They are just the right size to line up in the shelves like books on a bookshelf, with the bags themselves taking up very little space. For me, this works a lot better than the plastic containers I've used before. In the case of these bags, when not full, they can be compressed to take up less space. Brilliant!
