Review on ViewSonic VA951S Enhanced Viewing Monitor: Crystal-Clear 19" Display, Eco Mode, 1280X1024P by Harald Clark

Faded colors, wide dot pitch, poor build quality. One of the few non-16:9 aspect ratio monitors available for those of us who prefer a less rectangular screen. I bought it to replace a very old 19 inch 1600x1200 resolution LCD. When used in a multi-monitor configuration, it literally pales in comparison to a 15-year-old LCD panel. Even if it is relatively cheap, it is not worth the money. The 1280 x 1024 resolution shouldn't be more than 17 inches, so going with a 19-inch monitor is a bad design decision. Stay away from it.
